Simple & Elegant Tadashi Shoji’s First Bridal Collection Spring 2018

Tadashi Shoji is a Japanese-American fashion designer and the founder of Tadashi Shoji clothing label. The designer is particularly known for designing stunning evening wear and red carpet dresses for ladies.

Tadashi Shoji was born on January 15, 1948 in Sendai, Japan, he was fond of painting and drawing so to fulfill his dream he moved to Tokyo to study fine art. In 1973 he moved to United States for further artistic development.

He learnt fashion designing from Los Angeles Trade Technical College and while studying he apprenticed with a costume designer Bill Whitten and during his apprenticeship and education, he realized that there are not too many options for women to wear on special events.

After his observation and realization he identified a complete new niche and decided to set his own label. This Japanese fashion designer was a sponsor of Miss Universe 2002-2007 Pageant for fabulous opening dresses and evening wears for the winners of Miss Universe each year in any event.

Tadashi Shoji debuted his first bridal collection for spring 2018 and in order to launch and create affordable bridal dresses collection the designer teamed up with BHLDN and Nordstrom.com.

Let’s talk about his latest spring bridal collection 2018, he designed a beautiful bridal line of wedding dresses that radiate simplicity and elegance. Shoji cited three women as inspiration for his spring collection.

Grace Kelly, Marilyn Monroe and Mai Farrow all three are style icons. Tadashi Shoji implemented signature marks of these three Hollywood stars and celebrities into one collection.

In this collection there was a little something for every bride between the sophisticated columns sultry necklines and whimsical embroideries. Shoji explained his spring collection, “We are all about affordable luxury and empowering women to feel great, no matter what their budget is”.
