Ritu Kumar is one of the most popular and talented Indian fashion designers. She was born 11 Nov 1944 in Amritsar, India. She passed graduate in 1964 from Lady Irwin College and got higher education from Briarcliff College, New York. She is first person that introduced Boutique culture in India. She started designing in a small village near Kolkata with a set of hand block printer and two tables. Now her boutiques are more than 30 across the country. She has a daughter which name is Aishvin Kumar. Ritu Kumar designed all types of ladies outfits like long shirts paired with trouser or churi pajama, frocks, sarees and lehnga dresses. But her bridal collection is known as entirely tradition collection. Her bridal collection is most famous among the Asian bridals.
